Further transportation of the cut-off part 7 from the cutting area causes the guide bar 4 to perform a dual function. On the one hand, it holds portions 12 and 13 of the frame in the opened or extended state of a, and on the other hand, it moves the cut off part 7 to its final working position in frame 5, that is, to the projection position. If ramkr. 5 is brought to section 14, the process of inserting the cut off part 7 into the frame is considered completed. Frame 5 is then moved in the direction of arrow 15 from the device finally framed. The component parts 12 and 13 of the frame 5 are curved out of their stationary position with the help of the appropriate bars, after exiting the section 14 the springs are again in their original, flat position, and the cut part 7 is fixed. For that. so that the sharp edge 9 of the cut part 7 of the film does not break when moved in, the wedge-shaped part 16 is cut from the edge of the film by a cutting die 17 installed at a distance of film pitch or multiple times from the cutting edge but 1 and 2. Cutting the die 17 removes the wedge-shaped portion 16 from the edge zone of the film 3 and causes 5, after the cutting process along the cutting line 18, the edge receives a bevel 19, thereby ensuring easier gliding along the bevel 10 of the guide bar 4.
